    Archival Safe:
    Permanent, durable, chemically stable, and can be used for long-term preservation purposes. Not always acid free or lignin free.

    Acid Free Paper:
    Paper which has been treated with a mild base to neutralize natural acides. Without treatment, paper will turn yellow and fall apart eventually.

    Lignin Free Paper:
    The natural component "lignin" is found in all plants, but is removed during manufacturing in lignin-free paper. When removed, it helps keep the paper from deteriation as with the neutralizing treatment above.
