About Us
The Scrapbooking Source website is owned and operated by Kalixo, an Internet company that owns a number of online media properties.
The Scrapbooking Source was created in 2006 by Kara Kelso as a place for all scrapbookers to find free scrapbooking ideas and scrapbooking articles, scrapbooking techniques and scrapbooking layout ideas, scrapbooking supplies, scrapbooking resources, and most importantly - a sense of community.
Kara is also the creator of Idea Queen, a popular resource site for moms.
In October of 2008, Kara sold The Scrapbooking Source to Kalixo.

Two other women were instrumental in helping Kara Kelso with The Scrapbooking Source: Val Selby and Lauren Haugh. Both are professional scrapbookers who dedicated their time to helping make the site the best it can be.
